Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about any of us individually – This is About US working safely, together.
D&Z Operations Director Danny South contracted COVID-19 despite being healthy, active, and taking precautions to protect himself.
He shares his personal story to encourage workers to keep their guard up and be vigilant against this virus, even outside of work. You don’t want to catch this, and you certainly don’t want to pass it on to someone else in your family, team, or community.

Q: Is it OK to share with the leadership team if I am experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19?
A: Yes—it is expected that you share with your manager if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms for tracking and preventative measures. However, other personal health information remains confidential.
Q: Will I be paid if asked to quarantine?
A: In most cases, no. However, some client locations have made exceptions. Check with your D&Z Site Manager for details about the process at your assigned site.
Q: Does D&Z impose travel restrictions from “hot spots”?
A: D&Z follows local and state restrictions as well as client restrictions for anyone who has travelled from a designated “hot spot” during the pandemic.
Q: What if I can’t wear a required mask on site?
A: Some locations will require masks to be worn while at work or performing tasks when social distancing is not feasible. Any requests for exceptions (i.e. can’t wear a mask because of medical reasons) should be discussed with your HR Business Partner, who will work closely with your Site Manager/Director to determine whether an accommodation can be made.
